X Games Aspen 2020 highlight and sponsor reel. X Games held two world-class events in 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic brought contests and festivals to a halt around the globe. First, 115,000 fans attended X Games Aspen. Highlights included the debut of the Knuckle Huck discipline. Inspired by the antics of Marcus Kleveland, Snowboard Knuckle Huck and Ski Knuckle Huck were immediate hits. Skier Colby Stevenson became the first rookie in X Games history to earn two gold medals at one X Games, taking Men’s Slopestyle and Knuckle Huck. Japanese athletes also made their mark: Miyabi Onitsuka, Kokomo Murase and Reira Iwabuchi swept the medals in Women’s Snowboard Big Air. It was Japan’s first podium sweep at X Games.
